The Godfather and
The Godfather II are two of my all-time favorite movies. To me, they are cinematically flawless films. I own the Godfather DVDs, I've seen these films countless times... but AMC had a mini Godfather marathon this weekend

and I watched bits and pieces all over again at various times. Certain lines always stick with me after every viewing... "You know my father? People are coming here to kill him." "Up close like that - bada bing - all over your nice Ivy-League suit." "Look how they massacred my boy." "It's a Sicilian message: "Luca Brazzi sleeps with the fishes." "Hello, Carlo." However, last weekend it was this immortal line that is still playing in my head like a scratched vinyl LP:
"Drop the gun, take the cannoli."As a result, I've been craving cannoli all week.

I've always loved when Hyman Roth says:
"This is the business we chose."
