"OH MY GOD!"...

... is not only my favorite <--Kaiser Chiefs song that I had the pleasure of waiting to hear as an encore after first experiencing an energetic concert set with CG in a great Hollywood music venue... but these were also were the first words that came out of my mouth when I saw FJ in the lobby of the theater walking out with his friend D! Was it synchronicitous (I might have made that word up just now)... or just bizarre happenstance that FJ and I exchanged e-mails just days ago about music, concerts, our lives and how we live them and the perpetual desire to "do lunch"? And it just gets better - FJ's last words on the e-mail were "Loved hearing from you. Maybe our paths will cross again at some concert event!! love, F."

And so it was.

Not only were we parked practically next to one another in the stacked parking across from the theater... what you don't know, F - is that mere days ago I was at the Ice House (near your house) supporting a friend's stand-up gig and my hand to God I was thinking the MC looked a lot like you!

We all hung out in the parking lot and chatted about music and concerts for a while before heading our so-called separate ways - but I am still kind of reeling from the whole "I can't believe you're here!"-ness of it all. And it wasn't even the first time - we had a Neko Case run-in at the same theater about a year ago. I captured the Oh My God moment with some cell-phone pics - a better-ish one and a not-so-good one, but both were blog-worthy in my opinion.

And on that note, I leave you with the Brit pop powerhouse, The Kaiser Chiefs.

I was there and I still can't believe it. BTW, there is not a single concert that Sun Follower does NOT miss.
