DIA DE LOS DIAS

It's been a whirlwind month, too much to write about - not enough time to write it down and then by the time I go to do it, it's old news... eh, well, that's a cheap excuse. To tell you the truth, I've been in an unusually intense state of flux these last couple months and have not really written about any of it... but I will start writing stuff again more frequently, and soon.

So since I'm taking a moment (finally) to write anything at all, I'll just mention the weekend which spanned from local hang-outs, to East LA, to graveside at the coolie cemetery of the stars, Hollywood Forever Cemetery.

This last alter ^ was my favorite, all dead recording stars with their LP jackets altered.


Speaking of dead recording stars, I also paid my usual respects at the Johnny Ramone grave site... this year someone appropriately adorned the bust with those glass picture candles - one of Elvis, one of Ronald Regan and lastly, one of John Wayne. I thought Johnny was in good company with these Republican pals beside him. (sorry, no current pic - ran out of space on my camera - but you get the gist below)
