(Not bad for a quickie cell-phone shot ->)
Last night as I was driving home in heavy LA city traffic behind a black SUV with Lic. plate "Ms 8A," I noticed in the reflection of her back hatch door that I only had one headlight operating. One headlight. "...we can drive it home, with one headlight..." The Wallflowers... Jakob Dylan...Bob Dylan... Cate Blanchett as Bob Dylan in that new movie about Bob Dylan. I turn on my high beams so that I wll have two (albeit BRIGHT) headlights.(cell phone rings - my friend L). "Sunfollower, I just saw that movie about Bob Dylan - Cate Blanchett was amazing!"
Home to feed cats, sift cat litter, open mail - then out the door to feed someone else's cats and meet a friend for coffee. Driving through the windy Silver Lake Blvd trail I am blinded by the glare from my rearview mirror. At the turn I see a car with it's high beams on...but with only one headlight.
"God, I wish Cate Blanchett was driving that car."

P.S. A coworker just walked up to me (yes, I am finishing this blog at work) and said:
Co-worker: "Don't Look Back" ?
Me: Bob Dylan.
Co-worker: ???

Boston?
Nice stream of consciousness. I enjoy reading how someone's mind gets from point a to point f, it's interesting:)
I've been wanting to see that movie.
I love the "one headlight" song...soooo good. I haven't listened to enough Bob Dylan songs, however. I was always a Motown girl, ahem, and of course the Beatles. :)
