Yesterday, a Los Angeles County Superior Court judge overturned a controversial ordinance passed in April by county supervisors that made it a misdemeanor (punishable by outrageous fines and even JAIL) in unincorporated parts of the county to park a taco truck in one spot for more than an hour. Judge Dennis A. Aichroth said, was "vague" and therefore "unconstitutional."
So or the moment, they are back (and I do not mean this in jest) by popular demand. Let's hope the county supervisors don't ignore the public outcry and turn around and write a new and more obnoxious ordinance which will impede upon the businesses of these joyful restaurants on wheels who pedal nothing but good food at reasonable prices. If we said it once, we've said it 1000 times - CARNE ASADA IS NOT A CRIME!
