SIGNS OF AUTUMN TIDE

Signs that fall approaching:

It's almost dark by the time I get home.  I am at that awkward stage wherein I leave the office with sunglasses on and then at some point on the drive home I am unable to read any street signs. (By the way - wearing my sunglasses after sundown is as Hollywood as I get and not so much a sign of cool, but rather a sign of autumn coming... and possibly bad driving).

My cats are not shedding as much fur. In summer, I could knit a whole other cat with the amount of fur they shed.

The temperature is still in the 80 degree range but the nights are a tad cooler. It's pre-hoody weather.

While the evergreens remain status quo, Maple tree leaves have just ever-so-slightly started turning. It's a slower process, but well worth the 3 month wait for the foilage.

Stay tuned... Halloween is just around the corner.

Yeah! I'm seeing all those signs in SD, too. Especially the whole sunset thing...

I love fall clothes :)

It is said that you know from a cat's fur how cold the winter is going to be. Well, mine have hardly any. The days are beautiful, the nights crisp and the trees are just beginning to change colour.

The leaves changing colors and the fact that it is sweater season.
