Recently I was working on a TV show where the plot involved a disaster while making s'mores. I suddenly realized that I can't remember the last time I made/ate a s'more. But I remember the first time I had one - a Brownie Wing Ding, I was probably around 8 years old. After that - it was s'mores for camping, even s'mores at home at the fireplace or over the stovetop. I think the last time I ate a s'more was when I was a camp counselor in college... er, um... a few years back. I believe there was even a cereal that tried to recreate the taste of s'mores in crunchy bite-sized sugar pellets. The nerve!
I am sure the craving will pass... but I've put s'mores on my summer To Do list.
HOW TO MAKE S'MORES -- (1) Place Hershey bars on graham crackers. (2) Toast marshmallows. (3) Place toasted marshmallows on Hershey bars to melt chocolate. (4) Devour

what could possibly be better than a s'more in the morning?
I love s'mores. Recently, I've considered replacing the plain chocolate with M&Ms...
I've never been to a wing ding.
I was a cub scout and even a Webelo but no wing dings.
Let's just say as an older scout -"wing dings" took on a whole new meaning at Camp Nawakwa.
that reminds me of a conversation i overheard at my favorite Chinese restaurant:
Aunt (i suppose): we'll have to do some mores again one of these days!
Niece: what?!
Aunt: some mores! you know, we made them a few weeks ago!
Niece: (i can only assume she was rolling her eyes at that point)
;-)
I've always wondered what a s'more is (having seen them mentioned in books)... and now I know.
Thank you!
