Last night I got a sweet text message on my cell:
"I miss u"
This simple, short-but-sweet gesture touched me. A tear welled in the corner of my eye and I smiled as it ran down my cheek.
However... I did not recognize the phone number from which it was sent.

last weekend i got a 3 am birthday drunkdial from an unknown new york city number. sexier than anything certain.
It's always the opposite with me. I wrote "I miss you." (I always properly punctuate my text messages) and a while later I get one in return: "Who is this?" The humility!
