TRUST

The adage goes: Actions speak louder than words.

I have found that this was never more true than when an attempt is made to restore broken trust and lost respect in a damaged relationship. If there was ever a chance to repair this kind of damage, then you have to back up your words with action. If you do not do that, then you lose your renewed credibility very quickly. You must walk your talk or all your good intentions melt away to insincerity and you are right back where you started - on the side of mistrust and disrespect.

If I have learned ANYTHING at all in this lifetime it's that trust, honesty, and mutual respect are the foundation of ANY happy, healthy, mature relationship. If you do not have these fundamental qualities, then you've got nothing.

For sure. I've told many many people to show, don't tell when it comes to their actions regarding love. Talk's cheap.

Thanks for writing this:)
