YELLOWEEN

The leaves are just turing yellow on the tree next door to my parents' house. By November they will be in full autumnal color. I come home every weekend to help care for my mom, who grows weaker all the time. These days I am flooded with memories every time I am here. Just the way the air smells drives home a million childhood days. I am already starting to miss it here.

Not sure what's on the schedule for today - I am not feeling very Halloweeny - although I got into the spirit by baking stuff and bringing in a jack-o-lantern full of candy to work which everyone continued to fill (the 12 pounds of xmas begins now!)

But WAIT!  I just turned on the TV and am about to embark on a MUNSTERS marathon. Brilliant!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
